A delicious and easy recipe for creamy crockpot pierogies with sausage and cheese.

- 1 bag (24 oz) frozen pierogies
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chives for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the sausage and onion then set aside.
- Whisk melted butter, cream cheese, chicken broth, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Place half the frozen pierogies in the bottom of the crockpot and top with half the sausage and onions.
- Pour some of the creamy sauce over the first layer.
- Add remaining pierogies, sausage, and onions then pour the rest of the sauce on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the surface.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours until pierogies are tender and cheese is melted.
- Stir gently and garnish with chives before serving.
Notes
- For best results, do not overcook the pierogies.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
